Liz Peters is a British improviser and facilitator, who has been performing professionally for over twenty years. She trained as an actress at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, before studying improv at iO Chicago and with many other international improv teachers and schools.
Liz is part of multi award-winning improv company The Maydays, whose repertoire of shows includes gothic musical Happily Never After. Her other improv credits include Yes Queens (joyous all female shortform), Bumper Blyton (genre narrative), Dead British (radio comedy), The Concept (improvised live album) and Unplanned Cabaret (musical glitz). She has performed at festivals and theatres throughout Europe and guested in shows in USA.
Liz was nominated Best Female Performer at Brighton Fringe Awards for ‘Toybox’, a musical comedy she wrote and performed.
She is also a certified Embodied Facilitator; her debut book ‘Own It!’ (about embodiment, confidence and presence) was published in 2019, for which she also narrates the audiobook.
